It’s 3AM on Thanksgiving, and as the sound of dripping is keeping me awake, I don’t think I can get to sleep until I write this review. I will note, this project is still on going, so we’ll see how it turns out. I will update. We called Exterior’s Plus to have our house inspected from the hail storm last year. William Dye came out to inspect. He showed us pictures of the damage to our house and roof, that we didn’t realize we had. He was kind and thorough, and walked us through the process of how he would work with our insurance to get us, basically, a whole new exterior to our house. Will was amazing here. We were more than excited to work with him. We signed a contract in April to get a new roof, as well invest a little extra for higher quality siding, and a new skylight and bow window. It took some time to get started. May, June, July pass by, and we were told that the hold up was our skylight. They initially ordered the wrong one, and they were waiting for the new order to come in. Roofers finally come in August, and then our bow window and skylight. The bow window install seemed to go well, but when they got the skylight in, my husband noticed it was the wrong one (again, wrong order). Since it took so long for the project to get started, we worked it out with Will to just keep the skylight, and he would throw in a shade to go with it.In September, siding was ready. Rosa and her team did the install, and they were awesome. They took their time to make everything look good, constantly changed their gloves to keep the white siding clean, and took time to chat with us during the process. This is the point where things sour, and this all happened within 24 hours. My husband and I had taken out a couple bushes to make the bow window install easier for the crew. When we went to replant them, we found someone dropped an entire box of nails in the hole the plant was in, and COVERED IT WITH DIRT. To say I was livid is an understatement. We have young kids running around! That evening, we also had an inspector come to check out the house. While our inspector said the siding looked good, we were shown MANY problems with the roof and skylight install. We were SHOCKED to see how beat to hell the skylight was, as well as how beat up the roof was.The next morning, my husband calls Will to tell him all this, and we received the most unprofessional reaction. He was upset we had a third party come out to inspect our home (which we told him we were going to do from the beginning). He went on to say the guy we hired was probably disgruntled he didn’t get the job. He then tried pressing us for his name and number which we didn’t give him. This was not the same Will from the beginning, and we were surprised and upset with his reaction. An inspection should be a contractors time to shine if they’re proud of their work. My husband tells Will he will send pictures, and Will says he’ll contact the skylight and roof company to get their people out for another inspection. Once they receive pictures, they cancel the skylight inspection and agree to order us a new one. They send out the roofing inspector, and he agrees, many areas need replaced, including the entire porch roof. We agree to have them make the fix. This was the beginning of October. We never received an apology from Will on the work that was done or how he reacted. Now it’s November 28th, and drips are running down our wall. We haven’t even checked the attic yet for water damage. I honestly don’t want to look. My husband told Will on Saturday we had a leak. Sunday. Monday. No one checks in. My husband reached out again Tuesday. Will offers us a tarp as soon as possible. We call the office, and his manager never calls us back.In the mean time, my husband called around other skylight suppliers, and for the exact skylight we want, they all told us 1-2 weeks. We have a leak. It’s been two months. Where is our skylight!? Why isn’t our roof fixed!?We’re entering winter, and I honestly feel sick over this.

Exterior Plus was prompt in responding to my inquiry and set up a timely appointment. Derek Marshall was able to seal my Sun Tunnel to keep insects out. Very efficient, I would contact them again for other work.
