Leonard was responsive and executed everything as promised. very professional. He had his drywall guy that came in and finished up the work around the skylights, did an excellent job. Just a great experience.

I've never dealt with a more unprofessional contractor than Sunburst Skylights. I re-scheduled with this sad excuse of a company twice. Both times, nobody showed up and I never got an email, text or voicemail telling me that they would be late or not showing up...nothing, nada!

Sunburst Skylights installed two skylights for us. They came with a large crew and finished the installation in one day, with an additional half day to finish up the drywall work. They enclosed the work area in plastic sheeting and did a great job cleaning up at the end of each day. The skylights look great, and we highly recommend them. Thanks guys!

I hired Brian to install four skylights about three years ago and all seemed good at the time. He was professional, arrived on time, got the job done, and the result looked great. However, three years later I am remodeling my house. As part of the remodel, the sheetrock surrounding the Velux skylights he installed was removed and we saw his unsafe work. When installing a rectangular skylight, you typically need to cut a rafter which is then blocked above and below the hole where the skylight will reside. Each block is then nailed to the adjoining rafter to maintain roof integrity. However, Brian did not nail the blocks for any of the four skylights which meant that he effectively severed four rafters! To add insult to injury, Brian failed to nail the blocks on two separate occasions! First, we had him install two skylights. Then, because we liked them so much we had him come back and add two more skylights. We have four skylights in a row above our family room.I've been scratching my head trying to figure out why he did not nail the blocks thus compromising the structural integrity of the roof. The only reason I can come up with is that he just doesn't care and it's more expedient to not nail in the blocks.

We have only been in Simi Valley for 17 months and have had many occasions to contact various workmen or services for our first home and now for our second home (just purchased). Of the myriad companies and representatives, Brian McQuade has been the most professional and dependable individual that we have dealt with. We wish he did more then just deal in skylights/sun tunnels due to the ease and reliability of doing business with him. He is friendly and extremely efficient making it very easy to work with him. He does quality work and we highly recommend him.
